FAQ
Are children invited?
While we love your little ones, we’re keeping the celebration to adults only, with the exception of our immediate family’s children. Thank you for understanding!
What should I pack for the weekend and the wedding day?
There are plenty of activities for everyone at Cedar Lakes! Enjoy lake adventures like swimming, canoeing, and ziplining, as well as a heated pool, basketball and tennis courts, and more. Don’t forget to pack your swimsuits!
Footwear: Cedar Lakes Estate is an indoor/outdoor venue, with grassy and gravel areas, so choose your footwear accordingly.
Hiking/Athletic Clothes: There are lots of different outdoor and sport activities for you to enjoy throughout the weekend.
For the wedding day, we want you to feel comfortable and stylish! The dress code for the ceremony and reception is summer formal, but please keep in mind that our venue is a beautiful outdoor setting, so comfortable shoes are encouraged!
Will there be transportation between events?
All activities and events will take place on-site, so getting around will be easy! Shuttle service will be available for our Saturday daytime activities, the welcome party, and again on Sunday for our ceremony and reception from the Courtyard by Marriott and The Orange Inn.
Can I stay at Cedar Lakes Estate?
Unfortunately, space is limited, but we have reserved a block of rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott and also have rooms on hold at The Orange Inn. Please refer to the details on your save the date to see your lodging arrangements.
What if it rains?
We have covered indoor options for all major events, so the celebration will go on rain or shine! Feel free to pack an umbrella and comfortable shoes in case.
